Lawyer Trinh Hoi, the Executive Director of VOICE, spoke in the Draper Hills Summer Fellowship in 2017. In his speech, he talked about his journey to become human rights defender in Vietnam. His journey is that of a young boy who always tried to forget his damaged and lost homeland who became a lawyer who travels the whole world. He always introduces himself by saying, “I come from Vietnam.”
