VOICE Bangkok is responsible for the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Refugee:<\/strong> Humanitarian and legal assistance to the stateless Vietnamese asylum seekers in <strong>South East Asia<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Advocacy:<\/strong><br \/>\na. Implementing advocacy strategies involving the promotion of human rights in Vietnam as well as raising awareness on behalf of Vietnamese human rights defenders at risk and political prisoners.<br \/>\nb. \u00a0Seeking humanitarian assistance for human rights defenders at risk and families of political prisoners.<br \/>\nc. \u00a0Filing communications on behalf of Vietnamese human rights defenders and political prisoners through the use of various UN Special Procedures, such as the <strong>UN Special Rapporteur on the Freedom of Opinion and Expression, <\/strong>and<strong> the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Training:<\/strong> Finding internship and training opportunities for the long-term interns in Manila.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Our achievements so far:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Resettling at least 90 Vietnamese stateless asylum seekers that had been left stranded in Thailand for 27 years to Canada (since 2014)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Receiving at least 50,000 USD from a number of international NGOs and bodies for human rights defenders at risk and families of political prisoners<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Developing a close working relationship with the <strong>United Nations\u2019 Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Vietnam Human Rights Desk Officer of the US and Swedish Embassy, <\/strong>and<strong> international NGOS including Freedom House, Human Rights Watch, Forum Asia, and Amnesty International<\/strong> for advocacy purposes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vietnamvoice.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Gi\u1edbi-thi\u1ec7u-v\u1ec1-v\u0103n-ph\u00f2ng-c\u1ee7a-VOICE-t\u1ea1i-Bangkok-Th\u00e1i-Lan-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-956 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vietnamvoice.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Gi\u1edbi-thi\u1ec7u-v\u1ec1-v\u0103n-ph\u00f2ng-c\u1ee7a-VOICE-t\u1ea1i-Bangkok-Th\u00e1i-Lan-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Gi\u1edbi thi\u1ec7u v\u1ec1 v\u0103n ph\u00f2ng c\u1ee7a VOICE t\u1ea1i Bangkok -
